From 4 to 8 September, Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli joined Electrolux AEG at IFA Berlin, bringing pizza and the expertise to make it at its best to the exhibition.
The school works with Electrolux to develop pizza-making solutions, particularly for home use. Central to the project is PizzaExpert, a function designed for Electrolux AEG’s new generation of domestic ovens.
The technology reaches temperatures of up to 340°C and works with dedicated accessories such as a cast-iron baking tray. Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli contributed by testing and evaluating the baking results of the oven and its special tray, providing technical support for the function’s development.
Master Instructors Tiziano De Filippis, Emanuele Scherma and Salvatore Salviani took part in the AEG Pizza Shows. Their demonstrations showed how dough, preparation techniques and the right equipment can improve homemade pizza.
A highlight was the official opening tour’s visit to the Electrolux AEG stand. Led by Germany’s Federal Minister for Digitalisation and Government Modernisation, Dr Karsten Wildberger, the delegation learned about the innovations and the results of the collaboration.
The IFA appearance highlighted the meeting of technological research with expertise in ingredients, dough and working techniques. A collaboration rooted in professional experience and reaching pizza enthusiasts at home.
